Seasonal Flu Clinics
- Seasonal Influenza Vaccine (regular dose) – available to all.
- Adjuvanted Influenza Vaccine – inactivated, standard-dose seasonal influenza vaccine that contains an adjuvant called MF59 to help create a stronger and longer-lasting immune response. Approved primarily for adults aged 65 and older, who face a higher risk of severe flu complications and hospitalizations. While the adjuvanted vaccine is the preferred option to ensure a stronger immune response, individuals may choose the regular dose if they prefer.
- COVID-19 Vaccine – we will be receiving all Moderna COVID vaccine. Eligibility: anyone who has gone at least 3 months since their last COVID vaccine or confirmed infection is eligible. If someone was sick recently but never tested, the recommendation is to still proceed with vaccination.
- Pneumococcal vaccine - all adults aged 65 and older are eligible for free publicly funded pneumococcal vaccinations in Manitoba under the routine immunization schedule. Note this is a one-time dose, this is not an annual vaccine.

Together Across the Generations
ðŸÅŸ Your Story Matters! ðŸÅŸ
Senior Volunteers Wanted for Stories Across Generations
Do you remember playing outside until the streetlights came on? ðŸâÅ¡
Going to a one-room school? ðŸÂ«
Your first job? ðŸâ©ðŸÅ¾ðŸâ¨ðŸâ§
A favorite family tradition? â¤ï¸Â
We want to hear your story!
Macdonald Services to Seniors is looking for senior volunteers
to take part in a special intergenerational project connecting
older adults with students from J.A. Cuddy School.
Over three sessions, you will be paired with a student who will get to know
you, ask questions, listen to your memories, and discover what life was like
when you were young.
Together, you'll talk, laugh, share memories, and discover the things you
have in common.
ðŸââ And there's a special ending...
The stories collected from all of our senior volunteers will be compiled
into a community book:
Stories Across Generations
Our Community, Our Stories
Your story could become part of a lasting collection that future
generations can enjoy!
No special skills are required—just a willingness to share, listen, and have
some fun.
â¤︠Be a storyteller. Be a mentor. Be a friend.
